DUE TO COVID 19, ALL IN-STUDIO CLASSES ARE ON HOLD. You will not find any classes currently scheduled on the calendar below. I have also stopped teaching live classes online. However, you will find over 200 classes in the online library and more are being added periodically.
You can find an updated schedule of my live classes HERE. These classes are taught from my home studio in Ellensburg, WA. All of the classes, with the exception of any Teen or Kid Yoga Class, are available through my online yoga studio. So anyone, anywhere can join me for class!
All classes are $10/single visit or buy 5 classes for $45 or 10 classes for $80
Class Descriptions:
Bikram Sequence
Here, we practice Bikram’s sequence of yoga postures – 2 breathing exercises and 26 postures. Bikram yoga is typically done in 90 minutes, but this is a condensed version. We do two sets of most of the postures, holding them longer for the first set and attempting to go deeper in the shorter, second set. Standing postures are followed by a transition to floor postures through a brief mid savasana. This intelligently designed sequence is built to work the entire body, inside and out. It improves balance, flexibility, strength, and suppleness in the spine.
Once you are on your mat for the floor postures you may wish to have a blanket to use as a prop under your knees or ankles.
Fusion Yoga
We start slow to realign and wake the body, then hit it a little harder, getting a challenging workout in to start your day. This is a practice for anyone. I give modifications throughout the practice and options to skip the “flows” (sun salutations) if you’re tired. But this is the perfect class to wake you up, get your heart pumping, work your major muscle groups, focus on your breath, and begin to heal your body from the inside out. I can’t think of a better way to start the day!
Restorative Yoga
This class requires you to take it slow and mindfully. Large focus on breath work, stretching deeply, and observing your physical and mental state, leaves you feeling refreshed and renewed. Wonderful way to end your weekend and prepare for the week ahead.
We don’t always use props in this class, but it would be smart to have a yoga block, blanket, and/or pillow handy for this class.
You can find a free tutorial of Sun Salutations and common breath work found in my classes over at my online studio. So if you are a beginner that is a great place to start and then you can hop right into a class either in person or online!
